Hi, I’m Karl — a Sports, Automotive, Landscape, and Commercial photographer based in Ulladulla, NSW.

My path into photography wasn’t a straight line. I started out as a bike mechanic, spending years in workshops and on trails, fixing bikes in all kinds of weather. That hands-on background taught me to pay attention to detail, to appreciate the grit behind the glamour, and to respect the stories that unfold in those in-between moments. Somewhere along the way, I picked up a camera — and I haven’t put it down since.

For me, photography is about more than just taking a clean shot. It’s about capturing energy, atmosphere, and those raw, authentic moments that tell the bigger story. Whether it’s a rider pushing their limits, the shine of a classic car at a show, or the buzz of a live event, I love freezing those moments so they can be experienced long after they’ve passed.

Living on the South Coast of NSW, I get the best of both worlds, access to incredible trails, stunning coastal landscapes, and a strong sense of community. When I’m not shooting, you’ll usually find me out riding, building trails, or chasing sunsets with my camera (and my family in tow).

I work across event coverage, athlete and sponsor content, product launches, and automotive shoots. My approach is relaxed but intentional, I want people to feel comfortable in front of the lens and confident that their story is being told with honesty and impact.
